From the upcoming series:
Quote:"Private, do you copy!?" General Shine screamed into the walkie-talkie. "Roger that, sir." said Private Roger. "Get out of there right now!" "Roger." A few silent seconds passed. Then, suddenly, General Shine heard a scream from the other end. "PRIVATE, DO YOU STILL COPY?!" He screamed rather epicly. "Sir, we..." *bzzt* "...oh my gosh it's..." *bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt* |

OKAY! Time to get this thing rolling.
Chapter 1
Very simply put, life is never random. Never. Not once. Everything happens for a reason. The reason may seem... shaky at best sometimes, but everything has some purpose. However, a group of people get sucked into a place called the "Randomosity Zone", where it seems that pure chance dictates everything. Or does it? This is their story.
***
October 30th, 2009 New York City, NY
My name is Drake Shine. I live in Conneticut, eat computers for breakfast, and I love Nintendo. In fact, that's the one reason why I'm here. Nintendo will unveil something totally epic, right in Times Square. If it's Wii Music 2, I would still love the Big N, but such a thing isn't epic. No, I'm looking for something awesome. New Pikmin? New Starfox? I'll even go for a new Kirby. Just please don't let it be Wii Music 2... *** Hey, I'm Fred Knox. I love anything that makes me think in a logical fashion. I blame Nintendo, and my parents, for that attribute. I believe the world works in a certain, generally predictable way. In fact, I could probably predict what Nintendo is going to announce today. I'm completely sure it's... oh, wait, hold on. I'm currently in the finals of a free-for-all chess tournament. Actually, it's just me and a bunch of elementary school kids. But come on, it did say free-for-all. I secretly hope that Nintendo's announcement catches me off guard... in a good way. Life rarely does that to me. *** Whazzup? I'm George Masters. I really don't care about Nintendo. I really don't care about video games much. I'm only in NYC because my best friend, Josh, invited me to come. He's excited for whatever that one NOA dude has to say about whatever he plans on talking about. You know what would be amazing? Something totally unexpected. Like Wii Music 2. I would get an epic laugh out of that. *** Don't panic. I'm... uh... just call me G. Maybe I'm here in NYC to hear the "big announcement". Maybe I'm here to laugh when Nintendo reveals something totally ridiculous. Maybe I'm here for a family reunion. Maybe I'm here for reasons you quite honestly don't need to know. All you DO need to know is that I make a metric ton of references to things I may not even know myself. Now if you excuse me, I'm watching some dude wail on little kids in a chess tournament. I'll take a picture with my phone to show my friends how badly he's... what?! *** Shh! I'm Luke Hyde. I'm cool. I'm hip. Actually, I'm neither. I just pickpocketed some dude and stole his cell phone. Does that make me a bad person? Well, I really needed a cell phone, so I have no regrets. Anyway, I'm kind of running away from the cops. Why? Well, the answer to that question is rather offensive. Unless you're asking why I need the cell phone. To which I answer: None of your beeswax. Kidding! I need it so I can call a certain somebody about Nintendo's new game. I... er... left my iPhone on the bus. I had a suspicion that the feds would use it to track me down somehow. *** Dear Diary, If anybody told me that I would be in New York City for a simple video game announcement, I would laugh. But here I am. Rachel Fantana, right here at Times Square. How all of this happened is very complicated. Actually, it's highly confidential. So confidential I won't write it down. Sorry. I will say that I'm awaiting a phone call from a friend. That's all. *** Editor's Note: If you would like (a character based on you) to be part of this story, PM me ASAP. The sooner, the better; the more, the merrier.
Reggie Films-Aime took the stage. The crowd waited for him to speak. "We at Nintendo won't waste any words. What we're about to unveil will speak for itself." The Nintendo logo popped on the big screen. "Nintendo presents to you..."

11-12pm? 12 at night is 'midnight', not PM (and even if it was either AM/PM, it would be AM). xD
As for the first question, I did when I was in school, but not since I've gone to Uni, so I said no.
Wtf is an honours/AP course? Voted 0 for all. =.=
I also voted the lowest option on the last one because I have no idea what it is and it wouldn't let me deselect.

Chapter 2
Life has its seemingly unpredictable surprises. Too many of them, however, aren't good surprises. *** Everyone was on the edge of their seats. Well, there weren't any seats for them to be on the edge off, but you get the point. Drake stared at the screen for ten seconds, only to realize that it wasn't doing anything. Just the Nintendo logo. He blinked, then looked around him. It was as if the whole world had stopped, just for the announcement. But soon, he started to panic. What was going on? Something hit him on the back of the head, and he fainted. *** "Where am I?" Fred said. He assumed that he fainted right before the announcement took place. Now all he needed to know is where he could possibly be. It was pitch black, and he had a splitting headache. Did someone hit him? Was he blind? Was he deaf, too? He couldn't hear a thing. But he could hear his own voice. He could hear his echo. Thoughts flooded into his mind, and he painfully pushed them out. References to "Out of the Silent Planet" and other alien-related things came to mind. It's predictable. Aliens. The government. Evil corporations. Or worse. But he had the feeling that what just happened to him was one of the scary things that couldn't have been predicted. A bad scary thing. Sounds redundant, but fear can be like that. *** "So, tell me what happened, again?" asked George. "We could have fallen through some kind of inter-dimensional vortex." replied G. "You're kidding." replied George. "Nope." "So, tell me what happened, again?" G sighed. George has been slightly bugging him since they met a mere five minutes ago. They heard each other's voices, and are now teamed up to find a way out of the darkness. "It's something totally unexpected, that's for sure." said G. *** Luke, one more, tried calling with the cell phone. Didn't work. Did the U.S. government finally get to him? He used the light of of the phone to try and make out his surroundings. The floor was solid glass, and that was all he knew. He didn't know how high the ceiling was, nor if there were any walls. The light hardly pierced the dark void. He tried dialing the number again. No service. No chance. *** Rachel had a flashlight in her purse. How convenient. She could see the glass floor, and the impenetrable darkness below it, but the flashlight could only penetrate a little over a yard (that's basically a meter to anybody who isn't from the USA) into the darkness. Then she found someone. "Luke, is that you?" she asked. "Rachel?" Luke replied. They embraced. "I thought I'd never see you again! I tried to call you..." said Luke. "Same here. But we need to get out of here. Any idea where we are?" asked Rachel. "Aliens. The government. Evil corporations. The town of Hell, Michigan. I don't know." Then there was a loud cracking noise. Rachel pointed her flashlight at the floor, only to see it cracking some more. *** Fred meditated for a little while, then heard a cracking noise. He got up, and was immediately pushed back to the floor. "What was that?" Drake wondered. "It's a person you just slammed into." replied Fred. "Who are you, and where are we?" "I'm Fred Knox, and I don't have a clue. But the cracking noise doesn't sound to good." "I'm Drake Shine... whoa!" The floor shattered.

Chapter 3
The Apple of Enlightenment couldn't predict this! And I couldn't either. Fred thought as they plunged to their inevitable doom. But, apparently, nothing is inevitable. He landed with a thud. OMG I'm dead I'm dead I'm... Fred opened his eyes to see a clear, blue, familiar sky. He turned his head, and found that Drake wasn't moving. Lifting himself up, he felt weightless. That is when he realized the truth. "I'm a GHOST?!" "And so am I." Drake replied, popping out from under his previous body. "That sucks." *** G and George were stumped. "Not even my vast knowledge of sci-fi and horror can make sense of this." G commented on their recent... ghastly predicaments. "I have a great idea." replied George. "What?" "We can be a duo of ghosts, haunting anyone who dares cross us! We'll be... G&G: Ghouls of Misfortune." G frowned. Was George serious? Or is it just his sense of humor? "No. I say we try to figure out where we are before we do something that we may soon regret." *** "We're dead." Luke said. "I know." replied Rachel. Now, reader, I ask you a question. If you were a ghost what would you do? Yep. Freak out. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHQ!" screamed Luke. Rachel stared. "Freaking out doesn't help." she said. "Sorry." "Well, I guess we can say our mission was a fail." "Yeah." They sat there, all ghost-like for a mere two seconds when: "Rachel, I've been meaning to tell you this, but..." Luke started. "Yes?" "I..." "Hey, look! There's more ghosts over there!" shouted Drew. *** "I don't think I've ever been more afraid of the Ghostbusters." said George. G sighed. "Well... when there's something weird, in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call?" G replied. George frowned. For once. And for those who are bored out of their minds, wondering what the next random event is... "Look behind you!" G screamed. George turned, and if he had a jaw, it would hit the proverbial floor. Their former bodies were limbering about, as if possessed. "Okay, I don't care how random this is turning out to be, but AIN'T NOBODY is stealing my body!" George said, charging at his former self. "Agreed." G replied, following suit.
Will George and G get their bodies back? Why does this sound like Invasion of the Body Snatchers? What about everyone else? What the moo is going on? And is everything happening random, or meticulously planned by an unknown force? Just freaking wait till Chapter 4.
