"Those predicting an announcement by Nintendo at GDC regarding a new Zelda game were indeed correct. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is coming to the Nintendo DS. Satoru Iwata wants to please long-time, loyal fans to the company and to the Zelda franchise with this particular title, which is coming later in 2009.
From the footage seen so far, the game is styled a bit like GameCube's Zelda title, Wind Waker. Link is controlled with the stylus, seen controlling a side kick character clad in armor. He's then pitted against a huge crab-like creature in what appears to be an epic boss battle. Additionally, Link was seen riding a train. Does this mean he can control trains in-game, or are these just cutscenes? Honestly, we don't know yet."
Let's hope it delivers, but I just hope they will soon follow up with a sequel to TP, as this looks to be 3rd part of Wind Waker / Phantom Hourglass trilogy. I am dying to figure out if Midna returns, she was one of the best new characters recently introduced.
d**n it Sergiem, if you read and had a brain and weren't a spammer, you would know that article is on the SAME GAME. Aside from that, this games looks allrite. Not the best, not the worst. Me despising Twilight Princess, hopes it will be better.

tbh it just sounds like a dumb way to repeat sailing on the ocean in windwaker. Doesn't really sound to good now, but hopefully they'll do something cool with it. #3 in the Toon link series, I really hope it isn't bad, because they're doing very well so far.

Hmmmmm, both of the other cell-shaded Zelda games had a lot of sailing, so completely taking that out and replacing it with something else is a very...interesting choice. The train riding seems fun, but a lot less free due to the fact that your following tracks the whole time.
